{"id":1522,"date":"2026-09-09T13:41:00","date_gmt":"2026-09-09T13:41:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jaqsoncapital.com\/?p=1522"},"modified":"2026-09-11T14:22:46","modified_gmt":"2026-09-11T14:22:46","slug":"before-you-buy-more-ai-find-the-work-your-company-should-never-be-doing-manually-again","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jaqsoncapital.com\/es\/ai-technology\/before-you-buy-more-ai-find-the-work-your-company-should-never-be-doing-manually-again\/","title":{"rendered":"Before You Buy More AI, Find the Work Your Company Should Never Be Doing Manually Again"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Businesses are adopting AI backwards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They start with the technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Which AI should we buy?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Should we build an agent?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Can ChatGPT do this?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Should every employee have an AI assistant?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The better starting point is not AI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is friction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Look at your company and identify repetitive decisions, repetitive communication and repetitive movement of information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Where does somebody receive information in one place and manually enter it somewhere else?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Where are employees answering the same questions every week?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Where does someone spend hours preparing a report that management reads for five minutes?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Where are leads forgotten because a person has to remember to follow up?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Where does information exist, but nobody can retrieve it quickly enough to make it useful?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Those are usually better AI opportunities than trying to invent an impressive chatbot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A simple framework is to divide work into three categories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Judgment work<\/strong> requires experience, context and accountability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Process work<\/strong> follows relatively predictable steps.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Information work<\/strong> involves finding, organizing, transforming or communicating information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">AI becomes extremely powerful when it removes unnecessary process and information work so people can spend more time on judgment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But there is another side companies underestimate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Automating a bad process does not make it good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It makes the bad process happen faster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before implementing AI, ask:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If we removed the human effort from this process tomorrow, would we actually want the process to remain exactly as it is?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If the answer is no, redesign it first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The companies that benefit most from AI will not necessarily be those with the most tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They will be the companies that understand their operations well enough to know what should be automated, what should be redesigned, and what should always remain human.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Technology is leverage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But leverage only becomes valuable when applied to the right system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Author: David Casta\u00f1eda Jaquez<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Businesses are adopting AI backwards.
